So here goes…..After a lot of thought (believe me this was not an easy decision but the right one for me) and my future fate (military, unsure of what 2016 is going to bring us) I have decided that it is time to retire (once again) and close the shop. I have enjoyed the last 12 years and have met so many great people. I have been fortunate to have amazing ladies that have worked with me, and have formed some lasting friendships. Too the most recent Karen, the past couple of years have been great, I don't know how many times I have been told you are a keeper and a such a wonderful person. I know that we will stay in touch as you too will start your new chapter in Nfld next summer. No worries though, she is sticking around during this process.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your support, kind words, and yes some friendships that I have made over the past few years. I am going to miss those who visit weekly to pick up a candle and chat. (don't panic the 1803 candles will be around until the end in fact hoping to be refilling the shelves later today or tomorrow) and those of you that have had trust in my love for decorating. And I can't forget The Wood Guy, his work has been a definite plus for the shop in giving it a country feel. (Custom Orders will still be accepted for the next couple of months)
I have not set an actual close date as this is a process and it will depend on how fast or slow I set the pace.
I will keep you all posted with regards to close out details via our Facebook Page….So stay tuned for upcoming sales and news.
